What You Can Expect
Prince's Island of Istanbul will take you away from the city itself. Be ready for an easy, relaxing day. Tour will start with a boat trip to the Princes’ islands from the Bosphorus and its bewitching ambience will make your experience a dreamy day. Today it is hard to believe that once the islands used to be the place of exile for the royal family members. Now the islands are quite popular with the beautiful naturet here. Recently historical buildings, beaches and sea food restaurants made the islands a famous summer attraction place for tourists and locals.
Different than all other Princes’ Island Tours in Istanbul, during your tour, you will have the chance to visit the 2 famous islands; Heybeliada & Buyukada. Lunch will be served in Buyukada after a phaeton (horsecarriage) ride around the island. On both of the islands you will also have free time for your self.

Tour Schedule
You will be taken from your hotel by airconditioned mini buses to Kabatas pier where you will catch the boat to the islands. The boat departs at 9.00am. During your journey you will be escorted by our English Speaking Guide.
Heybeli Ada: 1st island we visit. Getsit’s name fromit’s saddle bag shape “Heybeli” meaning in Turkish “saddle bag” When we get to the island you will have one hour. free time (Pls. check the Heybeliada highlightslist) You can enjoy drinks in a traditional Turkish tea house or you may try the nargile (smoking the aromatic tobacco), also do not miss the delicious icecream / waffle of the island. If you love the nature, its recommended for you to stroll around the undiscovered path of the forest to reach to the summit of the island. Heybeliada’s highlight suggestions are; 19th C. Greek Orthodox Monk/Priest School on Umit Hil,18th C. Naval School, Macarios Hil, Bahriye Pier.
Buyukada: 2nd island we visit – we will have lunch here as well. The biggest of the Princes’ islands. ”Buyuk” in Turkish also means “big. When we get to the island first you will have the Phaeton (Horse carriage) ride around the island. After the ride you will be served lunch at a restaurant. Then you will have 1hour.free time for yourself. (Pls. also check the Buyukada highlightslist) You can either rent a bycyle and tour around the island or you can go for swimming. Also do not forget to try the traditional drinks (sage tea, black tea , Turkish coffe flavored with gymnastics etc.), there is a variety of traditional sweets as well. Buyukada’shighlight suggestionsare ; Church & Monastry of Hagia Yorghi 18th C.(greek orthodox), The greek orphanage building 19th C. (the biggest woodens tructure on earth), House of Resat Nuri (Famous Turkish novelist), Greek orthodox and Muslim Cemetaries, Panaghia/Virgin Mary Churh 19th C.,Hased la Avraam Synagouge 20th C, Hamidiye mosque 19th C.
*The tour ends about 5.00pm. When we get back to Kabatas Pier, you will be taken back to your hotels by our AC-minibuses.
